Esta peli gano 6 Oscars.... so u must think Con* eh buena!!!& its not bad ... mi problema con ella es que la elevaron a un punto
en el que no esta... las criticas fueron excelentes sin embargo
no hay nada que no se halla utilizado antes.,.. in fact it seems like a group of
maniacs doing "great things" and thats not right... & its not right
'cause of the following:
1* There was no plot, no emotions.
2* It gives right to the War in Iraq.
3* The script was written directly from the Pentagon. (Duh')
4* It's obviously a war propaganda.
5* I don't mind if a movie has a message saying to support the troops, but here, I felt like I was watching a 130 minute join the army commercial.
6* An team would not roll out on a mission with ONE TRUCK. That's just
asking to get your head blown apart.
7* Also, who on earth, in the right mind, puts on a hoodie and sneaks up to people with a gun and tells them to give them a ride (FOR FREE TOO) in the most hostile enviroment on the planet?
8* Even the ending was lame too. So he is given another year and stuff with badass music playing. What's the message here? That war is all cool and badass? That war is a drug and it's OK to get addicted to it if you're all cool and badass like James?
9* so para terminar no es nada del otro mundo que no se halla visto en otro war movie... veala 1 vez no mas de ahi.. se sentira toda la pelicula como el pana en la foto del medi que esta rodeado como por 7 bombas.... eso es la peli.. ni mas ni menos.. si tienes familia en la milicia seguro lloraras de orgullo si estas en contra de la guerra escupiras al dvd al sacarlo ... enough said...

Dear Johny, with all due respect, i think you might have missed the point.
In your review, you imply the movie is more like a love letter to war than a movie about war...
Which in my unprofessional opinion, its not accurate.
The movie, even though it paints a broad picture, is about one man who puts himself in danger on a daily basis. For him, as with many many Soldiers, thats all there is for them. Once they Hit Ground Zero, they become war fiends...Addicted to it like crack-heads.
He, James, doesnt care about much else than to get to the place where the bomb (or bombs are) and defuse him. He´s like a mechanic, working the same car part every single day of his tour of duty in Irak (Hence his tunnel vision) and thats precisely why the film looks as if it doesnt have a plot. It is a day to day with a man so reckless he doesnt care if he doesnt get to live through the day. He Just cares about the Rush of it all. Im not a big fan of "Irak War" movies, and i stepped into this one with understandable prejudice (it beat Avatar, WTF?) but if you look closely past the flashy camera work, the heavy handed soundtrack, and the militaristic mumbo yumbo, you´ll see what Bigelow is going for. War [IS] a Drug, this movie shows why.
I could Go on and On!! But im just going to leave it here. I guess this is why this is a blog open for coments, you´re actually inviting this sort of debate. Cheers to you Mate.

Love letter fo war? Didn't said that... I never said it was a bad movie.. I think its waaaaay overrated and I explained why... U need to see the movie from the "commercial" point of view that we're leaving right now ...that's what they did and took it to the limit.... Other than that as I said there's no real plot.... Sooo mejor que hicieran un documental... Creeme la vi dos veces para asegurarme que al irme en contra de los mejores criticos del mundo iba tener mis puntos claros..... La cinta se le dio la promocion adecuada y sus frutos llegaron a parte de la precion politica en la que se vio envuelta... Todo esta perfecto a su favor en eso tienes que fijarte no te dejes cegar... Repito nunca dije que es mala pero sin plot y sin muchas cosas nuevas que no se hallan visto ya en 800 reportajes de ex militares no se cual es el aporte real de esta peli.... Fijate el codigo da vinci por ejemplo fue una .....MI#rd@ sin embargo el libro creas o no en lo que dice es genial tiene un "plot" increible, however la peli por las preciones politicas y religiosas le quitaron TODO!!!.... Hay pelis geniales que simplemente por x o por Y no se les da el apoyo y no llegan esta llego por lo que te dije en mi opinion no es una pelicula para repetir..que te da tencion" Wow wso lo hace cualquiera ... Pero genial que te expreses :D piensa en los puntos que te expuse ....con calma despacio... No solo porque al verla pensaste woooowwww es genial... Esa fue mi primera impresion luego me di cuenta del meneo,, no te dejes usar del sistema ;)
